These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Roamadi mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Doaa Othman (Independent Developer) based in the Netherlands ("Roamadi", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
You can browse Roamadi (cities, places, videos, communities) anonymously. Generating AI itineraries, saving trips, casting votes, and syncing content across devices require an account. Authentication is provided by Clerk using your Apple ID, your Google account, or an email address and password; credentials are handled by Clerk — we never see or store passwords ourselves.
You are responsible for safeguarding access to your authentication provider account and for any activity that occurs under your Roamadi account. We are not liable for losses caused by unauthorized access to your Apple ID or Google account.
You agree NOT to:
Roamadi lets you post that you are heading to a public place, and lets other users ask to join you. This section applies whenever you host a meetup, join one, or exchange messages about one.
We are a platform, not a chaperone. Roamadi facilitates connections between travellers. We do not verify the identity of any user, conduct background checks, screen criminal records, or vet anyone before they use the Service. A user having an account, an email-confirmed badge, or a history of previous meetups is not a representation by us that they are safe, honest, or who they claim to be.
You are responsible for your own safety. You decide whom to meet and whether to attend. We strongly recommend that you: meet only in the public place listed on the meetup; tell a friend where you are going and when; keep conversation inside the Service rather than moving to private channels; and leave immediately if anything feels wrong.
What we do provide. Meetup pin locations are shown approximately until a host approves you. Chat messages are filtered for contact details and are deleted 24 hours after a meetup ends. You can report any meetup, message, or user, and you can block any user at any time. Reports are reviewed by a person, and we aim to do so within 24 hours. These are safeguards, not guarantees.
Meetup conduct. Our Community Guidelines form part of these Terms. Breaking them may result in a warning, suspension, or permanent ban at our discretion. Conduct that we consider grounds for immediate removal includes harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual advances or content, pressuring another user to share personal contact details or meet privately, impersonation, and creating meetups you do not intend to host.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Roamadi is not liable for the conduct of any user, whether online or in person, and not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from a meetup. Your interactions with other users are solely between you and them.
Roamadi offers optional paid products that unlock the full experience — the complete place catalogue, local specialties, and meetups — and top up AI itinerary generations. All purchases are made through the Apple App Store or Google Play; we never see or store your payment card details.
Cancellation and refunds. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period already paid. Payments are processed by Apple and Google, and refund requests are handled by them under their own policies — nothing in this section limits any statutory refund rights you have under applicable consumer law. Where a purchase is refunded by the store, the corresponding access or credits may be removed.
Price changes. We may change prices for future billing periods. For subscriptions, changes take effect in accordance with the applicable store's rules, which include advance notice and — where required — your consent before a higher price is charged.
A core feature of Roamadi is using artificial intelligence (currently Anthropic's Claude model) to bring the best out of AI for travel planning — curating day-by-day itineraries tailored to your taste, the length of your trip, your group, your interests, and the destination you've chosen. The aim is to save you hours of research and help you organize your trip around what you actually want to do.

A central goal of Roamadi is to give you a clear, honest picture of each destination before you visit. To do that, we surface the most relevant third-party content we can find — real photos, real ratings, real short-form videos showing what places actually look like — so you can make informed travel decisions instead of relying on stock imagery or marketing copy.

We do not own, control, or endorse third-party content. We are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, legality, or safety of content sourced from third parties. Your interactions with third-party services are governed by their respective terms and privacy policies, not ours.
The itineraries you generate, the trips you create, the votes you cast, and the free-text prompts you submit are collectively "Your Content". You retain ownership of Your Content.
By submitting Your Content to the Service, you grant Roamadi a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and display Your Content for the purpose of providing the Service to you and (where applicable) to other users you share it with (e.g., collaborative trip members). This license terminates when you delete Your Content or your account, except where retention is required by law.
You represent that you have all necessary rights to Your Content and that submitting it doesn't infringe any third party's rights.
The Roamadi name, logo, app design, code, algorithms, curated content, and all other elements of the Service (excluding Your Content and third-party content) are the property of Roamadi or its licensors, protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
We strive to keep the Service available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice, including features, content sources, AI models, or supported destinations.
Free-tier limits on AI-generated itineraries (a small number per calendar month) and the allowances included with paid plans may be adjusted at any time as we tune costs and capacity; the current numbers are always shown in the app.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY OF AI OUTPUT.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ROAMADI DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTY THAT (a) THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, (b) THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, (c) AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR APPROPRIATE FOR YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES, OR (d) ANY ERRORS WILL BE CORRECTED.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ROAMADI AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR LOSS OF GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY.
ROAMADI'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (a) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID ROAMADI IN THE PRECEDING TWELVE (12) MONTHS, OR (b) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS (US$100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations on liability, so the limitations above may not apply to you. Where required by law, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by your local law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Roamadi from any claim, demand, loss, or damages, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to (a) your use of the Service, (b) your violation of these Terms, (c) your violation of any third party's rights, or (d) Your Content.
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may also permanently delete your account from inside the app (Profile → Delete account). Account deletion is processed immediately: your profile, trips you created, votes you cast, and trip memberships are removed from our active database the moment you confirm. Any itineraries you generated have your user ID stripped at the same time and remain only in fully anonymized form. Residual traces in disaster-recovery backups and error logs are automatically purged within 30 days. See Section 4 of our Privacy Policy for details.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to other users, third parties, or Roamadi.
Upon termination, sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification) will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, sending a notice in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Almere, the Netherlands, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
If you reside in the European Union, nothing in this Section limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of your country of residence. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction.
